Italian Music Played in the Pavilion Hall of
the Small Hermitage
On 26 December, 2001, the Pavilion Hall of the Small Hermitage hosted
the concert Remembering Venice which was part of the Hermitage
Music Academy’s program.
The State Hermitage Museum’s St. Petersburg Camerata Orchestra conducted
by Pavel Bubelnikov played Antonio Vivaldi’s music: Concert for Flute
with Orchestra D major Goldfinch (soloist Orest Severin), Concert
for Two Cellos with Orchestra G minor (soloists Mariya Malyshkina and
Kirill Yevtushenko), Concert for String Orchestra D minor Madrigalesco,
Concert for Oboe with String Orchestra A minor (soloist Pavel Serebryakov)
and Concert for Three Violins with Orchestra F major (soloists Sandra
Schinder, Mikhail Alekseyev and Ruslan Kozlov).
Also Archangelo Corelli’s Christmas Concert for String Orchestra
G minor was played to celebrate the feast.
