Official Closing of the 3rd International Conference "Cultural Heritage of the Russian Emigration: 1917 - 1939"

On 6 September, 2002, the Hermitage Theater hosted the closing meeting of the 3rd International Conference "Cultural Heritage of the Russian Emigration: 1917-1939" sponsored by the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg and Consul General of the Czech Republic in St. Petersburg.

The theme of the roundtable discussion was "Russia's Destiny as Seen by the Russian Emigration". Conference sections dealt with economics, entrepreneurship, politics, science, education, literature, ecclesiastical affairs, painting, architecture, theater, music, cinema and art criticism.
