Concerts in the Hermitage Halls

On 20-22 September, 2002, the Big Church of the Winter Palace and the Small Italian Skylight Hall of the New Hermitage hosted the Hermitage Music Academy concerts of Valdera Chorus from Peccioli, Italy, marking the closing of the exhibition of two icons from San Verano Church in Peccioli. The Chorus and the State Hermitage Orchestra conducted by Simone Valeri (Italy) performed Cantate Domino of G. Groce, Regina Coeli and Gloria della Missa in Do of A. Lotti, Hodie Christus Natus Est of L. Marenzio, Tu seu il perdono of A. Maggini, Ave Maria, Ave Verum (in polifonia), Dixit Maria, Galaad, I been in storm so long and Exodus of M. Bonfitto, Ave Verum Corpus of W.A. Mozart and Gloria in Excelsis Deo of A. Vivaldi.
