Andy Warhol (1928 - 1987): Life and Creative Activites

The exhibition is prepared by the State Hermitage Museum together with the Andy Warhol Museum (Pittsburg, USA), Department for Education and Culture of the Department of State of the USA and Consulate-general of the USA in Saint Petersburg. On display is a BMW (model M1) painted by Warhol in 1979 that is provided by the BMW AG Concern (Munich) with assistance of the BMW Russland Traiding Company (Moscow). The exhibition is held within the framework of the official programme of the White House Council on Transition into the New Millennium with assistance of the President's Committee of the USA on Arts.
