Four Views on Porcelain
The works of four designers at the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory - Tatyana Afanasyeva, Elvira Yeropkina, Nelli Petrova and Galina Shuliak

The exhibition is the first to present the works of contemporary designers from the factory in the State Hermitage. It is devoted to the work of four female designers from St Petersburg - Tatyana Afanasyeva, Elvira Yeropkina, Nelli Petrova and Galina Shuliak. A quarter of a century ago, as graduates from the Mukhina Academy, they came to work at what was then the Leningrad Porcelain Factory. In porcelain each of them found her own means of self-expression, her own world of imagery, palette and treatment of form, her own distinctive way of decorating.

The exhibition is a prologue to further collaboration between the State Hermitage and the creative staff of the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory.
