2 November 1999 - January 2000 Exhibition of West-European Engraving from the rich Hermitage collection opened 2 November. This exhibition gives a good idea of the development of leading European schools of engraving for some centuries. Visitors of the Hermitage have a rare opportunity to see 127 masterpieces from the Museum funds. Among the best sheets are works of outstanding artists Duerer, Rembrandt, Goya.
