Students' Day in the Hermitage

On 7 October 2001 the traditional Students' Day gathering took place in the Hermitage Theatre. The event was devoted to the Hermitage Rooms at Somerset House in London. Museum staff informed those attending about the story of their creation, the exhibitions held in London and prospects for the future. A concert was also given by students of the St Petersburg Rimsky - Korsakov Conservatoire.

Students were given extensive information about the Hermitage Students' Club and had meetings with the heads of its various sections.
