The king Shulgi, in a headdress typical for the kings of the third dynasty of Ur, stands with his foot resting on a symbolic mountain, and with a scepter in his left hand. He is being approached by a woman (apparently Geme-Ninlila), who holds out to him what appears to be a vessel. He extends his right hand with an uncertain object in it towards her. There is a tree behind the king; a deer with accentuated antlers is standing in front of it. Behind the woman there is an inscription. |
