Easter Egg Bearing the Russian State Coat of Arms

Porcelain, polychrome overglaze painting

Height: 12,1 cm

Depicted on a crimson background is a black double-headed eagle holding an orb and sceptre beneath an imperial crown. In the centre is a shield with the arms of Moscow: St George striking the dragon with his spear. On the eagle’s wings are the arms of the lands making up the Russian Empire.
