The internal dial is a small brass disk attached to the frame of the clock mechanism. It is engraved with minute marks and the inscription A. Helfer, St Petersburg, 1839. The minute shaft of the clock mechanism passes through the disk and an auxiliary hand attached to the shaft shows the current time in minutes. |
