Tetradrachm. Reverse: Zeus Reign of Alexander the Great (336-323 B.C.) Macedonia Silver Diameter - 26 mm; weight - 17.15 g Coins often bore a depiction of Zeus as a god sitting
in all his majesty on a throne. His right hand holds an eagle, while
his left rests on a sceptre - the symbol of divine power, as we can
see on this coin from the time of Alexander the Great.
