4: Cabinet for valuables |

The craftsman concealed this cabinet with a large number
of mahogany drawers in the depths of the bureau. It was intended for the
storage of a collection of medals or jewellery. The seven drawers - four
large horizontal ones and three miniature ones in the upper row are decorated
with bronze medallions bearing ring handles. The medallions are decorated
with male and female heads in profile.
