The carved designs on the box and cover

The big character "chun"- spring predominates the design on the cover. Two dragons on both side of it are playing with the big round pearl in the center of the character. Inside the pearl Shouxing, Taoist god-star, is seated under the pine. The bowl multiplying the jewels and riches is shown under the character. The gems are shining.
On the border sides of the box the cartouches with the figures in landscape and scholarly scenes are shown. Between them the eight jewels - corals, coins, pearls and others, are carved in high relief. The whole background is decorated with the diaper ornaments representing earth, water and air.
