The body of this exquisite bell featuring a female arm
is decorated with relief ornament incorporating flowers, scrolls and seashells.
Its relatively small size, the whirling shape and festoon edge of the
body creating a certain similarity with a dress all tend to suggest that
this belongs in the category of "ladies' bells".
