This closed dress with austere lines was made of black chiffon. It has a dropped waist and three-quarter-length kimono-style sleeves. The fairly wide straight skirt is gathered at the waist and decorated in front and at the sides with silk ribbon tassels in the same shade as the fabric of the dress - a very fashionable element of decoration in the early 1920s. |
