The reconstruction and restoration of the East Wing of the General Staff Building (State Hermitage Museum) based on its condition in October 2011.

  • Restoration of zones being added to the category of museum items (chapel) - 10%
  • Reinforcing new doorways in the brick walls - 70%
  • Construction of in-situ reinforced concrete skylights - 20%
  • Construction of partitions - 10%
  • Construction of roof covering - 20%
  • Placement of window filling - 80%
  • Production of window filings at enterprises and restoration at workshops outside the construction side (doors, fireplaces, interior elements, including stone) - 50%
  • Assembly and installation of internal utility networks (heating, ventilation and conditioning, electrical power supply, security and communications systems, roof gas boiler system) - 70%
  • Environmental protection measures, reducing negative impact on the environment - constant
  • Monitoring the condition of new construction and the building as a whole during the process of work - constant
  • Construction of in-situ concrete coverings - 80%
  • Construction of metal frame gates and movable walls outside the construction site - 10%
  • Construction of in-situ foundation grids, mat and columns of the yards Nos. 1, 2, 3 - 45%
  • In-situ construction of translucent coverings in yards No. 1, 2, 3 - 70%
  • Construction of in-situ staircases and elevator shafts - 60%
  • Preparatory work on the finishing and restoration of the area (plastering work on the brick arches and walls) - 80%
  • Reinforcing the brickwork using the injection method - 80%
  • Assembly of the steel roof construction systems - 40%
  • In-situ reinforced concrete construction, units No. 1 and 2 - 80%

Since the beginning of the works the following works were completed:

  • Reinforcement of the building's foundation
