A reproduction of an early 20th-century porcelain statuette of a hippopotamus produced at the Imperial Porcelain Factory after a drawing by Ilyinskaya, who worked at the Faberge stone-cutting workshop creating models for the unique Faberge Zoo series. The female hippopotamus, named The Beauty and displayed at the St Petersburg Zoo, was known throughout Europe for her huge size.
