A reproduction of a 5th-century BC Greek oil vessel lekythos produced by a contemporary craftsman. It has a single vertical handle, a narrow neck, and a mouth with a rim which prevents excessive oil from splashing out. Lekythoi were used in temples as funerary offerings and during various rituals.
