This splendid Easter egg is reminiscent of the exquisite works of the Faberge company. Its decoration features Oriental motifs the spicy red of the enamel is set alight by gold ornament sprinkled with faux jewels. The famous company produced a host of different eggs for the feast of Christ's Resurrection from the large Imperial surprise eggs to little ones that people collected and wore as a string of beads. You can place your own present inside, continuing the old tradition of giving Easter eggs.
