This Easter egg topped with a crown is reminiscent of the creations of the celebrated Faberge company. Each year for the feast of the Resurrection, Nicholas II, the last Russian tsar, presented his mother and his wife with surprise Faberge Easter eggs. The Russian letter (N) is incorporated into bright gold ornament with faux jewels that is superbly set off by the enamel ground.
