The State Hermitage gives a right to reproduce images of the exhibits from the museum's collections to the organizations upon written requests only.
The image request should contain the following information:
- The required type of digital images (colour or black and white, jpeg or tiff, dimension, resolution) or colour transparency;
- The purpose of use. Please give a general context and one specific to the images;
- The size of provisional illustrations (whole / half / quarter page / cover image etc.);
- Print run information;
- Publication distribution area (a certain country / Europe / world etc.);
- The languages it will be published in;
- Publisher information;
- Payer information. Please also indicate bank details;
- Provisional retail price;
- Provisional publication date.
If photographic images are requested for study only and not for publication purposes, it should be strictly indicated so.
