“Personalities from Peter the Great’s Time” 2019

On 19 and 20 November 2019, the Great Hall of the Menshikov Palace was the venue for the latest annual conference “Personalities from Peter the Great’s Time”. The conference is devoted to exploring various aspects of the study of the history and culture of the era when Peter I reigned in Russia (1682–1725), questions of the attribution and exhibiting of artefacts. Another of the most important fields of research is the architecture of the first quarter of the 18th century.
