The Worldwide Cub of Petersburgers proposes holding the march of the “Immortal Regiment” as a remote event

Mikhail Piotrovsky, President of the Worldwide Cub of Petersburgers and General Director of the State Hermitage, has contacted Saint Petersburg’s Governor Alexander Beglov to propose that this year the “Immortal Regiment” action (in which people have marked Victory Day, 9 May, in recent years by parading with photographs of relatives who fought in the war, or otherwise contributed to the war effort) as a socially distanced event.
