On 15 June 2023, the opening hours for the Main Museum Complex are changing due to the holding of the Saint Petersburg Economic Forum.
The museum will close at 3.00 pm, with the ticket offices stopping work an hour before – at 2.00 pm. All other Hermitage display facilities will follow their usual timetable on 15 June.
The day of free-of-charge entry for concessionary visitors, which traditionally falls on the third Thursday of the month, will be put back from 15 to 22 June 2023, so that it can be held in full measure.
We remind readers that on “free-of-charge Thursday”, certain categories of individual visitors can enter the Main Museum Complex, General Staff building and Museum of the Imperial Porcelain Factory without paying: all children under 18, pensioners (citizens of the Russian Federation and EAEU), students of Russian educational institutions, staff of Russian museums and others. Free-of-charge entry tickets are available in a separate section of the website tickets.hermitagemuseum.org a few days ahead of the designated date.
Please note that children under 14, invalids of the 1st and 2nd groups (citizens of the Russian Federation and EAEU), wheelchair-bound invalids, child invalids and certain other concessionary categories have the right to enter the museum free of charge on any working day. Details of the terms and conditions can be found in the Visiting
Rules section of the website.
