On 23 and 24 March 2024, all the Hermitage's display facilities will work as usual.
The Hermitage always maintains a high level of museum security measures. However, in connection with the tragedy that has taken place at the Crocus City Hall concert hall they have been further intensified.
All mass events in the museum this weekend have been cancelled, including the interactive game for school pupils being held as part of Children's Book Week in the General Staff building.
The performances planned to take place in the Hermitage Theatre on 23 and 24 March have been postponed. New dates for those performances will be announced separately in the near future. All tickets purchased remain valid. The tickets can be returned to the operator from which they were purchased.
The State Hermitage expresses its condolences and its support to all relatives and others close to those killed and injured in the terrorist attack.
Anyone who has purchased a ticket to the museum for this weekend may return it if they prefer.
