The second international “Light in the Museum” research and application conference is to take place from 18 to 20 April 2022. The conference, which was postponed due to the public health situation, will be held in the State Hermitage and other venues in Saint Petersburg.
Online registration of participants opened on 18 January 2022 through the website https://cie-russia.ru/svm2022.
The conference, which was instituted by the State Hermitage, the Scientific and Technical Council of the Lighting Technology Branch in the Russian Federation and the All-Russian Lighting Research Institute, will be organized by the Russian National Committee of the International Lighting Commission and the State Hermitage.
Presentations will be made at the event by leading Russian and foreign specialists in the spheres of the light environment, display lighting and museum practices. They will include representatives of the State Historical Museum and Tretyakov Gallery, the British Museum, the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, and the Grabar Art Conservation Centre.
It will be possible to participate in the conference both in person and online. Registration is free of charge.
